10 - Happy New Year everybody! Terra a vista!

We have (basically) passed the Drake and are already above 60°S

Dad enjoying the view, and listening to some music.

Here is my location right now:

62° 25.840’ S

63° 26.322’ W

We are pretty lucky for such a nice drake :D! Its like a lake (Drake Lake) today, with the sun shining and deep blue waters… so peaceful! For most of the time, I either laid in bed making my movie, or sleeping. My other activities are hanging from the “monkey bars” and either swing or doing pull ups! 💪

This MAY shock you, but I slept for 5 hours straight as I got used to my small bed, and I like it! Its so good to sleep on and If Marina hadn’t woken me up I would’ve missed the whales!

TERRA A VISTA!

AKA- WE SEE LAND!

Antarctica is far of course, but with binoculars, you can barely see some mountains that would easily trick you as clouds! The island where the mountains are is named after  Captain Smith, the first sailor to get to Antartica.

This is the Captains Pilot House and I am learning about Nautical Charts , Yeay!
