So, a few days ago, we got to Enterprise, and it was pretty beautiful! Mostly low mountains and water and we stayed there for 2 nights. We stayed right next to a sunken whaling ship that had caught fire, and Igor managed to collect more water which we needed, by finding a little stream and using a funnel and a hose, because take a wild guess who used a lot of the water trying to keep warm? Me of course, who else, the polar bears?
-remember that polar bears don’t live here, or else you don’t really get it haha-
Also, remember that boat we helped? -the boats name is Jonathan- we saw them at Enterprise! They stopped right next to us. Glad to hear their engine is working and they are okay. I got to even CLIMB on the sunken ship! It was so old and rusty, but mostly intact if you ask me. I could see the entrance from outside to inside, and all the gears. It was great.

After that, we went on a steep-ish tall hill. We went all the way up, then me and mom went down before everyone, and I had the idea to make what dad calls “ski-bunda” or in English, a butt slide! -dad said to let you figure that out, but butt slide is the same as any slide so im already confused- Everyone went 2 or more times, clips of me and mom below!
That must’ve been the best part of this whole trip to be honest 😃!!
But guess what?
Remember my animal that I wanted to see most? I SAW IT! TWO actually! If you don’t remember, it was an Orca :)! In my 6th post, I mentioned a lot of animals, and I mentioned how we probably would mostly see humpbacks. I was right, I’ve probably seen more than 6 groups of humpbacks on this whole trip. But back to the orcas…
They were AMAZING! The male was actually pretty big. They were right beside us, and at some point, Igor’s beanie fell off and into the water and the Orca went to see it but we managed to get it back haha. 😅 sadly the phone i'm writing the posts on -dads phone- doesn’t have any photos of them.

After the orcas we managed to find somewhere to sleep, called Truant. Which while we were hiking today, mom fell butt-first into penguin poop. EW! We also saw our first adele penguin, and a weird looking plankton.

After we hiked to the top we had. SNOWBALL FIGHT! Me and M
arina made a base, then I laud down some rules. Teams: Rodrigo, Mom; Scott, Dad; Me, Marina. When mom’s team discovered they didn’t have a base Rodrigo made a base with himself, mom following the idea. Just watch, you’ll laugh as much as the whole boat did! 😂
Before we left, we got some very clean, not pooped on, nor stepped on, virgin white amazingly clean snow, and we brought it back to the boat and made SNOW CONES! Technically snow cups? I’ll workshop it. Anyways, Adriana -Igors partner, AKA La Capitana- gave us some orange juice, grapefruit juice, and granadine -like, a pink very sweet juice- and put it on the snow to make the flavors. It was amazing :)!

After that we had what dad said, and I quote “We had lunch on this very beautiful bay, no wind at all; very peaceful, didn’t even have to drop anchor, and we had this incredible meal of centolla, king crab”. He said it was the best lunch of the trip.
For the remainder of the day it was mostly navigating to a place called Lamaire channel. We were just going through an ice lake -bresh ice- and we even stopped and had snacks, the parents had champaign, me and my sister had juice… my dad and Rodrigo went on a small iceberg, and I got hung upside down by the feet by Scott and Igor! It was scary but so fun. I even grabbed an ice shard right from the water from how close I was! when there was an avalanche RIGHT IN FRONT IF THE BOAT!! The snow fell and made a giant cloud of snow mist. We were sorta far though, I wanna say like, half a mile or less from it? When I say right in front I don’t mean it like you probably thought.
And that was it for now! Now we are stopped at a place called Port Charcot, named after the first man to willingly spend a full winter in Antarctica. Well, I should sleep because im writing this at 12:12 AM, and I am oddly tired, so… yeah! Have a great day/night and goodbye!!
These pictures are amazing!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story! I especially like the one with you on the port side of the boat with the beautiful waves in the background!!!!
Oi Clara, oi pessoal! Esses snow cup devem ter sido deliciosos! E as centollas então! Huuummm…
Have fun!
