13 - One of the most INCREDIBLE days of my life!

Welcome back!

Papua Penguin and her 2 babies!

We went to Charles point, a tiny cove made of rocks and pebbles, surrounded by a beautiful crystal clear water. You can see the water in the photos. That place must be a Papua Penguin HAVEN! They are literally everywhere there.

After a careful and ultra professional anchorage by our amazing Capitan Igor, since we were just a few feet away from Icebergs and rocks, he took us to the Penguin colony where we could see hundreds of Penguins. We even saw some chicks being fed! Amazing. (Besides the horrible smell!)

We walked around and I even got behind some ice walls by climbing and crawling and got a peek at a mini lake/river inside the ice.

Scott cutting ice from a glacier for the drinks -PURE BOTTLED WATER? Mhm, this is the purest you could get. This ice could be here for centuries and its clean and beautiful and you call waterfalls ‘Pure and Clean’-

Today, we went hiking. There was a giant snowy mountain, full of FRESH SNOW! Certainly more than there ever could be in georgia or course. The first thing me and Marina did was make a SNOWMAN! We named it Adrien Agreste after a celebrity from our favorite show “Miraculous ladybug” and it was pretty tall!

After that we went climbing trying to catch up to the other adults, but then me mom and Marina went back to the boat.

After a while of sailing -And my first vomit of the whole trip- hey, it was gross but it’s my only one! (Hopefully for the whole trip) YIPPEE- we got to a section with THREE WHALES!! After some whale watching, me, Igor, Marina and Dad got on the DINGY and went after the whales!! Craaazy! But guess what? They must’ve liked us because they kind of followed us, let us get pretty close and they even played with us a little! They went under, around, even right beside us, putting their fins up and blowing on us! I swear I could’ve touched it if i reached a little further! The littlest one (a baby Humpback Whale) was very curious :)

Everyone went on the dingy chase, and my mom even cried after seeing them. But I don’t blame her, it was INCREDIBLY beautiful :D!

Thats really it so far! Now we are just navigating some more heading to Enterprise where there is a sunken ship!

Byee!

Those baby penguins are so cute! I am glad you mentioned them because at first I didn’t notice them. 😊

Nós tomamos drinks com gelo dos glaciares da Patagônia. Eles diziam que era whiskey 8 anos com gelo de 1000!

As baleias devem ter sido incríveis, não?!
